ASUS Eee PC 1201N to be in UK in January 2010

Latest word on this ION-netbook by ASUS is that they will be launching it in UK in the coming year 2010. Earlier, we mentioned that it would be launched in UK in December 2009, but it has now been postponed to mid of January.

It sports an ION processor, dual core Atom 330 processor, 320GB Hard disk + 500GB online storage, 0.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi b/g and 3GB RAM

Nothing is still mentioned officially on product page yet, also not on the ASUS global website.

ASUS EEE 1201N now available for Pre-Order – $499

ASUS’s first ION-powered netbook is now available for pre-order for $499 at the following stores:

This mighty netbook has a nice 12.1-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, Intel Dual Core Atom 330 processor, 2GB RAM, 250GB har disk, Nvidia ION chipset, Bluetooth and WiFi b/g/n.

It is being offered with Windows 7 Home Premium (not starter or basic edition) so that you can enjoy Aero on it in its full glory. After all, you have the strong ION GPU to back it on.

ASUS made the right decision by not bundling this amazing netbook with the atrocious GMA 500 chipset. At $499, it may sound expensive to some, but, then it has far better specs than the SONY VAIO X that we recently reviewed

Eee PC 1201N soon to make its way to UK – Next Month!

ASUS Eee 1201N up for sale in Italy for 510 Euros

The ASUS EEE 1201N was noticed at e-tailer in Italy for 510 Euros. Yes, it is the upcoming mighty netbook by ASUS that sports an ION processor, dual core Atom 330 processor, 320GB Hard disk + 500GB online storage, 0.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi b/g and 3GB RAM

It also has built-in card reader,VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, 3 USB 2.0 ports, earphone jack. It comes with a 6-Cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium as operating system.

ASUS Eee PC 1201N to be launched in December

The to-be-announced ION-powered ASUS Eee PC 1201N will be unmasked in France in December officially. Some of the promo material of specs is also available with them. It will also have Bluetooth built-in too.

ASUS Eee PC 1201HA official In Italy – To be available in mid-November – Price 399 Euros

The 12.1-inch ASUS Eee PC 1201HA will be available in mid-November for 399 Euros. Asus officially launched this 12-inch beauty in Italy yesterday. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium (note: NOT starter edition).

It uses Intel Atom N520 processor; has 12.1-inch display, 1366×768 resolution, GMA 500 graphic chipset, 250GB hard disk, 2GB RAM, WiFi b/g/n and is backed by 6-cell battery, with battery life of 8 hours.
Ports: VGA, 3x USB, 10/100 LAN, Card Reader, headphone and microphone jacks.

Available in four colors: black, blue, red or silver.

Note: This one does not have an ION chipset. If you are looking for the one with ION, then you should see EEE 1201N

ASUS to release EEE 1201HA netbook: combo of dual core CPU and ION chipset

Asus EEE 1201HA with a dual-core Atom 330 and ION chipset is now confirmed. After the Windows 7 launch, Asus will release it in the netbook market. It has a 12-inch glare screen and is the first netbook to have a combo of dual-core Atom + ION chipset. The main issue that is of utmost concern is its battery life.

ASUS EEE PC 1201HA – powered by Atom Z520 processor

ASUS EEE 1201HA is being displayed at the ASUS driver page. Peculiar thing is that it has drivers for the Intel US15W Poulsbo chipset and GMA 500 video card, which suggests that it might be powered by an Atom Z520 processor.

ION-Powered 12-inch ASUS EEE PC 1201N Netbook coming soon

ASUS is very soon going to unveil its first ION-powered netbook, EEE PC 1201N in the month of October. Having an 12.1-inch display, this netbook is surely not going to be as compact as the current seashell line of netbooks by ASUS (read our EEE 1008HA seashell review). Packing a respectable 1366×768 resolution, it also has a GeForce 9400M G ION chipset coupled with an Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz). It has 250GB HDD and 2GB RAM.

Along with standard radios (Bluetooth, WiFi-n), it is backed by a decent 6-cell 5200mAh battery that is rated to give you up to 11 hours of runtime. It will be bundled with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS and will be priced at $499
