Acer Ferrari One to feature ATi Radeon HD 4670 GPU!
Acer Ferrari One (quick look) is a netbook with a lot of muscle power inside. Its XGP port caught a lot of attention when it is first unveiled. According to CNET, the XGP interface can be used to plug-in a dock that has the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU which has the capability of pushing a mighty 2048×1536 pixels on its external display. The dock also adds 6 USB 2.0 ports.
So, if you think that its dual-core chip along with its internal ATi GPU was not enough, you can further have the boost by just plugging in an external GPU, which the Acer calls, DynaVivid Graphics Dock. This dock weighs 650gm and will be available for $199 in the month of November.

NVidia launches ION LE – no support for DirectX 10?!
ION LE has been introduced by NVidia which is actually a low-end version of their ION platform. LE stands for the entry level. This version of the ION is specially detailed for Windows XP on netbooks and nettops, contrary to other versions of normal ION’s.
As said by one of its officials, “ION LE is SKU of the ION GPU that is identical to “ION, except it only supports DX9. This product is designed specifically for Windows XP on Netbooks and Nettops and we are going to offer LE SKU just for OEM market. “Speaking of ION, there was news early last month about ION 2 hitting us before the end of the year.”

Acer Veriton N260G nettop updated – Now comes with Atom 280 processor
Acer has unveiled an updated version of the its Veriton N260G nettop by equipping it with the latest Atom N280 CPU. Earlier, this Acer Nettop came with Intel Atom 230/330 CPU. Unfortunately, they have taken away the powerful NVIDIA Ion GPU and it now comes with Intel’s GN40 chipset with GMA X4500 graphics.
The Acer Veriton N260G nettop comes equipped with a 160GB HDD, 2 GB RAM, 6 USB ports, HDMI as-well-as VGA port. It is available in Europe (including UK) at a fair price of £188.12 ($302)

Improve VAIO P performance by installing new Graphic Driver (Vista and Windows 7 only)
Intel has released a new graphic driver, which has surprisingly improved the performance of Sony Vaio P. The new Intel driver can be used under Windows 7 and Vista OS. However, XP is not supported.
“Installed it on Vista, much better. It fixed some icon list errors I had. Fullscreen video is now viewable. Webpage scrolling works a lot better.”
MSI Wind U110 ECO does NOT have ATI Mobility Radeon HD3200 Graphic card!
A couple of days back, we posted about the MSI Wind U110 Eco. We were quite happy to see the inclusion of Ati Mobility Radeon HD3200 in it. Well looks like it does not come with the HD200 Graphic Card and instead, it comes with the lame Intel GMA 500. Great work MSI PR guys!
