Arnova 10 specs and video review

arnova 10

Arnova Tablets will be arriving very soon. The first ones are the lower end Arnova 8 and Arnova 10 inch resistive touch screen tablets as well as the higher end capacitive touch tablet that uses a faster single core 1.2GHz Rockchip RK2918. The tablets are bound for release by May. Arnova 10 runs on Android Gingerbread. It would be nice to offer the newest of OS, Honeycomb, but the budget is an issue here. Arnova 10 is priced at $229, which would be reasonable, but with no Android Market, no menu buttons, HDMI output and other common perks this tablet just ain’t cutting it.

Nonetheless, Arnova 10 is really cheap so if you just want a tablet for the sake of having one, you might want to consider this one.

Here are the basic specs of Arnova 10:

Rockchip RK2918 processor (1.2GHz, single-core)
10.1″ 1024 x 600 display
Android 2.2 or 2.3
1080p video playback
USB 2.0 slave, USB 2.0 host, MicroSD card slot
802.11b/g WiFi
front facing camera
G-sensor
6-hour battery (video playback)
272 x 152 x 13.5mm (10.7″ x 6″ x 0.5″)
570g
