Windows 8 Update: Touch-Friendly?
It’ll be a while before new Microsoft Windows 8 arrives. Rumors suggest first quarter of 2012. Leaked images of the user interface have been surfacing across the web. Based on what the people have been seeing, it seems like the new Windows 8 is being geared towards user-friendliness that will be working much better for slates and tablet devices compared to Windows 7. There was even a video that shows the settings panel of Windows 8 which was touch-optimized. The interface uses a cursor for regular desktop use but it will most effective or equally easy to use in touchscreen mode.
