Integrated App Store featured in Windows 8
There is no denying that when it comes to tablets and other mobile devices, the App Store is becoming more and more crucial. Almost all mobile platforms have one and some third party apps allow the use of App Stores for other tablets. Just recently, Apple released Mac App Store and Intel released the AppUp Center. Now, with the upcoming OS from Microsoft, there will be the inclusion of a new app store. According to CNBeta, this will be called the Windows App Store and some images were revealed but it has to be noted that these are from the early build of the system so changes are sure to happen.
Looking at the name Windows App Store, it is possible that Apple will make a claim if Microsoft does not change the name prior to the release. The said store looks integrated well into the system and with the toolbar and the whole look of the interface; it pretty looks much like Windows Explorer. What makes Windows OS unique is that you really do not need an app store since you can just find the software on an actual store. However, getting an App Store made is a good move since it has made search and installation of files a lot faster and more secure.
