ASUS EEE 1101HA review

The ASUS EEE 1101HA is the epitomization of good looks combined with great battery life. It carries the same Seashell design like its 10-inch brother, EEE 1008HA. But, the ASUS has entering a bit late into the 11.6-inch netbook market, but that does not make it an unattractive deal by any chance. It is a great netbook.

Acer AO751H REVIEW (same as Acer LT3000) (Acer Aspire One 751)

With so many netbook manufactures now breaking into the 10-inch+ screen limit, Acer was no way going to left behind in the business where it actually rules. The Acer A0751H is the first Acer Aspire One to sport an Intel Atom Z 520 processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz. However, the best part of this netbook is its resolution: 1366 x 768 px, which gives it an obvious edge over its competitors. So, was it able to impress us?

Jinbo MID: World’s smallest laptop/netbook – based on X86 infrastucture

Companies that make MIDs (Mobile Internet Devices) always keep on trying to make these devices smaller and smaller so that they can easily fit in a pocket. Now, meet the Jinbo MID, which sports an Atom Z510 processor, 128MB integrated graphics (US15W), 1GB RAM and 16GB SSD. It has a 5-inch display and runs Windows XP Professional for some odd reason. It also has built in WiFi (b/g), 3G module Bluetooth, 2 USB 2.0 ports, micro-SD reader, 0.3MP webcam, earphone jack and weighs just 350gm.

Jinbo claims that this little wonder can run for 3 hours on a single charge.

Left and right mouse buttons are on the left of the display. Just above the buttons, you will find the webcam. On the right side of the display, there is something that should control the mouse on the screen.

On the bottom-left and bottom-right, there are grills for the speakers

The headphone jack is situated on the top of the MID. Battery is removable.

It will cost $580 (3950 yuan), which does sounds a bit over-priced to us. But, it is certainly nice to see that it is x86-based which means that it can run other desktop operating systems like Ubuntu, Windows 7 and dare we say, Vista :)
