SoftBank Digno Tab2 5G launched in Japan

SoftBank Digno Tab2 5G is a Kyocera-made Android tablet that has been just launched in Japan. Powering the SoftBank Digno Tab2 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ Octa-core processor backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB of flash storage. 

SoftBank Digno Tab2 5G specifications include 10.1 inch LCD, Bluetooth 5.4, wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), NFC, 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor on the rear and a 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor on the front. 

Supported communication bands are NR (FR1, FDD) n1, n3, n28, NR (FR1, TDD) n77, n78, n79, LTE (FDD) B1, B3, B8, B18, B19, B28, LTE (TDD) B39, B41, and B42. 

What makes Softbank android tablet different from rest of the market is its IPX5/IPX8 and dustproof trading. It is just like Panasonic Toughbook but for tablets. It also has a drop resistant rating for upto 75cm. 

Battery life numbers are not available but they should be pretty good given the fact it has mid-end processor, a typical LCD display and a huge 7000mAh capacity. 

SoftBank Digno Tab2 5G is currently Japanese market only and it is one of few tablets currently being made in Japan
