Toshiba 10.1 inch Honeycomb Tablet

  • Sharebar

Toshiba has an up and coming tablet and it is not yet up for pre-orders. It is 10 inch tablet that will run on Android. Now, it has a page on the online retail giant, Amazon. Just earlier this year at the CES, the tablet will contain a 10.1 inch screen. It will have a capacitive screen and a resolution of 1280×800 pixels just like Motorola Xoom. The processor will be the NVIDIA Tegra 2 and the OS will be the latest, Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The first quarter of the year is at its peak already and Toshiba has not even named their tablet. They have the generic Toshiba Tablet labeled for this seemingly awesome offering.

Let us look at some of its extra features. There is a rear camera that is 5MP. It also boasts of autofocus. The front camera is 2MP. The standard ports are present like the HDMI, USB and card ports. There is also bluetooth and WiFi. You can also change the plate at the back with different colors, which is pretty much a nice touch for customization. This Toshiba tablet also boasts of a GPS receiver, accelerometer, ambient light sensors, e-compass and gyroscope. The battery can be replaced by the users. Hopefully, all these great features will be consolidated into one solid name but until then, we call it a generic Toshiba Tablet.
