System Dump of Motorola Xoom hits web
To date, the Motorola Xoom is the very first tablet to carry Android 3.0 from Google. The developer tool for the 3.0 (Honeycomb) has been around for a month already. The fortnight to the release of Xoom in the US. A member of the XDA Developers forum uploaded a system dump for Xoom. This means that all files that are from the system can be readily used for download. This will not include the wallpapers as well as the icons. Howe ever, it will contain all the apps. There was a Nookcolor user who tried to install the Google apps like Gmail and Android Market but to no avail. It will just be a matter of time before someone cracks the code and make modifications to the apps that work on the non-Xoom hardware. Very soon Google will be releasing a source code for the Honeycomb. However, this will not give support to the Google Apps but it will help the hackers to get all the features of Honeycomb to work on all tablets. Recently, the codes were taken down due to infringement issues but there is still probably someone, somewhere who uploaded the data. A little research can really help.
