Galaxy Tab Price, Order Details
O2 Germany has announced the price of the Galaxy Tab, Samsung’s first Android tablet to rival iPad. According to the carrier, the tablet will go on sale for 780 Euros (~$1000). This implies 100 Euros initial payment where the user will have to enroll himself into a 2 year contract that goes for 28 Euros ($35) per month.
The pre-orders will start October 11 (2010). This thing is not cheap at all and thus I do not see it as an iPad-killer. Samsung, you just lost the opportunity

Samsung must be mad – this is a stupid price. The Toshiba Folio is only ÂŁ325 and in many regards is better spec’d!
