LG happy with Android, others welcome MeeGo
The MeeGo-Nokia partnership might be short lived. Their first and probably last venture device will come out later this year. Netbooknews has reported probable Nokia MeeGo tablet. Last MeeGo-Nokia project does not mean MeeGo will be out of the picture altogether. A number of companies are filling the void with LG as one of the companies venturing to use MeeGo. The other companies are ZTE and China Mobile. You will definitely be expecting phone versions using MeeGo. LG on the other hand is venturing to a different direction with car infotainment. It is very unlikely that LG will be introducing any phone or tablet using the MeeGo OS. LG is too happy and content with Android to deal with other OS.
