Android gets ported to Atom platform
Intel has itself confirmed that they have ported the open-source Android operating system designed for mobile devices for the x86-hardware. We may now finally see mobile phones based on x86-infrastructure. We are also pretty sure that Atom, being the most power-frugal Intel chip, is going to be the choice of processor for the smartphones and netbooks.
Note - we too were able to make our Eee 701 run Android, thanks to Android x86 project
