Rockchip-powered Chinese iPad
This Chinese-version of iPad surely has received a lot of free advertising, all thanks to Apple. Powered by a 600MHz Rockship RK2808 chip based on the ARM9 infrastructure, it is powerful enough to HD playback. It has a 7-inch WVGA display; comes with integrated Wi-Fi and runs Google Android.
So, it sports a much smaller display the Apple’s iPad and has a lower-res screen. Additionally, folks at Rockchip made some strong comments about the Apple iPad too – "The $499 Apple iPad could be manufactured at 1/3 of its original price".
Oh, and the Chinese iPad can run Flash too, something not being offered on Apple iPad.
