GoPlus Security, a Web3 decentralized security layer, has flagged a number of projects, most of which are meme projects as security risks. These projects are plagued with excessive permissions, unlimited minting, honeypots, and signature-replay flaws.
All of them are early x402 projects, which are part of the first ever cross-layer protocol that allows instant value transfers between different blockchains, including BASE, ETH, SOL, BSC and Xlayer. Some of the flagged projects include FLOCK, PENG, x420, U402 and x402Token.
Any ecosystem that expands this quickly will always have blind spots, so paying attention to these assessments helps keep traders grounded in reality.

Based on their AI auditing engine, 30+ x402 projects from Binance Wallet and OKX Wallet’s x402 sections, as well as community-flagged risk projects are on the high-risk list.
