Micromax IN 1B is a fabulous android phone but you can further extends its functionality by installing TWRP and rooting it. Keep in mind you will be voiding any warranty if you have still have it.
You will also need a Windows computer, Android Platform tool and USB drivers.

You will have to Enable USB Debugging as well as Enable OEM Unlocking
After that, follow these steps.
- Connect your Micromax IN 1B to the PC via USB cable.
- Boot into fastboot by ‘fastboot bootloader’
- Navigate to the folder where you have installed Android SDK and Platform Tools.
- Inside the folder, while pressing the ‘Shift’ key, right-click on an empty location.
- Select ‘Open Power Shell window here’. then type below cmds
- check everything works by typing fastboot devices if it shows your Micromax IN 1B fine otherwise you made a mistake
CMDS:
This step will automatically wipe your data on your Micromax IN 1B.
- fastboot flashing unlock
- fastboot oem unlock
- fastboot reboot – [First reboot will take some time]
- skip all the startup procedure then connect to wifi renable developer option and turn on usb debugging and also you can see oem unlock says its already unlocked [Sucess]
- Turn off the Micromax IN 1B,
- Now, press and hold the power and the volume down buttons,
- Once you see the fastboot logo, connect it to the computer with the USB cable:
- Open the command window in the Platform Tools folder and send following commands
CMDS:
- fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
- fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Your phone will Reboot (don’t make Micromax IN 1B to bootup, directly go to recovery (by pressing and holding the Volume + & Power Buttons).
- After that you will enter into TWRP Recovery
- Delete / wipe user data
- Now flash magisk.zip
- Restart the Mobile now
