Tegatech, a small computer manufacture has launched TEGA v2 Tablet that runs Microsoft Windows 7 OS. Company’s engineers have chosen Atom N455 processor to power this little baby and has packed it with 4GB of RAM. Storage can go as-high-as 64GB and if you feel that is not enough for your storage needs, you can always use the SDHC card slot to expand it.

TEGA v2 Tablet comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, optional 3G, WiMax and WiBro modules. All this packed into an impressive 870gm. Pricing information is not yet available, but Tegatech says it will be aggressively priced.

Although the Archos 9 Windows 7 tablet packs pretty weak hardware to make the overall experience enjoyable for the user, but something like MeeGo should run much better on such hardware.

EROS 2 tablet packs next-gen ION GPU.

EROS’ new tablet, EROS 2 is now coming and compared to its predecessor, Eros, it features a bigger 11.6-inch HD resistive display packing 1366×768 pixels. Weighing-in at 1kg, the device runs Windows 7 OS and is powered by an Atom N450 processor.

It is one of the few tablets out there to boast Nvidia ION 2 GPU, 3x USB 2.0 ports, and even an HDMI-out! However, for storage, you get a meager 16GB SSD and 1GB RAM. The tablet is more like a netbook without a hardware keyboard, except for the fact that it costs shamelessly more – 450 dollars and 550 dollars for the non-ION and ION version respectively. There is also a Celeron SU2300 version that will cost you 590 dollars. Expect the official launch in a month or so.

Asus is likely going to dump the Windows 7 for their EeePad (EP101TC) tablet for the Google Android OS. The tablet sports 10-inch display and was spotted at the Computex 2010.

FIC has launched a new Slate called TVB00. This features a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a speaker grill just beneath the display. Atom N450 powers this tablet and it runs Windows 7. Beneath, you will find a 1.8-inch HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI port, and a Broadcom Crystal HD chip that would allow playback of the 1080p videos. The tablet weighs in at 850gm and will be making its debut later this year.

Well, before you blast us, we did not utter those words. Liu Yingjian from Kingship unveiled two tablets, both based on x86-infrasture, which means they both (can) run Windows. In his speech, he publicly referred to the Apple iPad as a toy. Further, he said that the Touchpad is the world’s first ‘meaningful’ tablet PC. Not much detail is available for these Kingship Tablets, but we do know that both of these models cost 5999 Yuan ($875) and 4999 Yuan ($799) respectively, thus making it much more expensive than the iPad.

Sinchum has launched a new MID, M5A which sports Intel Atom Z515 1.2GHz processor and 5-inch WVGA display. It comes with built-in GPS and 3G radio. The company claims 3 hours of runtime from its 1900mAh battery and has not told the media when would this MID hit the market.

Now, here is a feature that we are unsure of – the company says that it can double as a phone too! Who wants to put a huge brick on their greasy face?
