10% share on non-iPad tablets on the market aimed by ViewSonic
The company is expecting that Apple will capture 50% of the sales of the tablet PCs in the market in 2011. It is also expected to capture 10% of the rest of the market shares said Alan Chang, The Asia-Pacific President at the release of the ViewPad 7 on October 26. The company sees itself at an advantage since they do not have burdens from other related products and it can offer lower prices without any issues on its other device offerings. The Tablet PC of ViewSonic is currently distributed by Synnex Technology International. The brand will also be in cooperation with Far EasTone for the telecommunications channel sales.
