Viewsonic Viewbook 730 ready for Launch
It sees like Viewsonic is preparing its new tablet named Viewbook 730, a 7 inch tablet that has been spotted at the FCC website recently. Right now, there are no detailed specs that can tell about the hardware of this tablet but with the looks from the images, it seems like the Viewbook will be using Android 2.3 instead of the latest 3.0 OS. That is apparent since the latest Android OS does not really necessitate the use of the soft buttons in the design. Below the screen, you can find built in speakers in stereo. It also has an HDMI port and that means it is probably going to be a multimedia tablet.
The new Viewbook will include eBook software, built in mic, headphone jack, microSD and USB slot. There is a camera up front and the volume settings are on the side. This tablet will also be using WiFi and Bluetooth. The company, Viewsonic is not a newbie in this market. They created some really nice tablet offerings in the past some containing the NVIDIA Tegra 2 and those dual boot models that support Windows 7 and Android. Right now, we are still awaiting some official announcement regarding the tablet but it is not available for pre-orders from a number or retailers online.
