Dublin Report: MeeGo Linpus Lite Tablet
At the MeeGo conference held in Dublin, Warren Coles from the company Linpus has revealed the MeeGo Linpus Lite Tablet that I a Linux based system and has functionality for multitouch and also has a number of applications like the Fennec Browser. This is an icon based launch that has a widget that can be swiped in all 4 directions. There is also a bookshelf and E-Reader capability. It also offers HD playback and it also has full YouTube functionality. You can also pop an SD card. Overall, we still need to get to see the other functionality but with the applications and features, it is quite a well rounded device for media and e-book reading. It needs a bit of work on the hardware side though.
