Sepolia is an Ethereum testnet that is going ballistic in terms of popularity among developers. It is quick and easy to use. Getting free Sepolia ethereum is also easier and takes few seconds. In this article, we will show how to add Sepolia Etheruem testnet in MetaMask.
If you are running the latest version of MetaMask in Chrome or browser of your choice, it already has Sepolia Ethereum testnet built-in, so you do not need to add anything manually.
However, it is hidden. So, to make it visible and usable, tap the burger icon to expand the menu and tap on Networks (see screenshot at top). Tap on the button alongside Show test networks to activate all testnets, including Sepolia, Linea Sepolia, MegaETH and Monad Testnet.
And that is it. Now, beneath the Tokens, you will find a dropdown. There, you will find two tabs – Popular and Custom. Select Sepolia.
If you deploy any tokens on this testnet, tap on the three dots and select Import tokens.
Paste the contract address and all the fields will popular themselves if it is available on Sepolia testnet. Tap on Next and you are done. You will find the token the Sepolia tab.
