Zebronics RC45A is a multi port adapter that outputs 45W from one of its ports, allowing you to charge your MacBook Air or any laptop that accepts USB Type-C port, This is the review of Zebronics RC45A.
This is how its packaging looks like. It has input voltage of 100-240Vac. There are four output ports, each having different output capacity. The most powerful one is a PD 3.0 Type C port that allows you to output at 45W.
The one below it, marked A1 can output 18W, followed by A2 and A3, both of which are capable of outputting 12W. However, it is totally possible to use all four ports at a the same time, that it will result in reduced outputs at all ports – 30W, 18W and total of 12W for A2 and A3.
This is probably because the A2 and A3 are USB 2.0, while A1 is USB 3.0 and remaining and most powerful one is Type C.
We tried charging our MacBook Air with the Type C port and it charged at near native speeds. Keep in mind the MacBook Air charger charges at 65W, but 45W is not shabby and since you would not be using maximum charge at all times, Zebronics RC45A can easily charge your Air laptop to 100% easily.
