Kaifu Lee, who is the ex-president of Google China and most importantly has worked for Apple before has unveiled some interesting facts about the Apple Tablet. On sina.com.cn, a microblog, he said that Apple Tablet looks like a bigger iPhone that sports an awesome UI packed in a beautiful 10.1-inch screen. The tablet combines the functions of both netbook and kindle, an ebook reader. It has virtual keyboard for text entry and a webcam for video conferencing.
Apple is planning to produce 10 million units in the first year. Lee has a good connection with Foxconn which is manufacturing Apple’s Tablet. So, whatever he said is quite believable.
Tech163 says that the tablet will be launched by Steve Jobs, who is the current CEO of Apple. It will boast multi touch functionality that lets you. It will be similar to Apple iPhone, but will be bigger in size. The Apple Tablet will also have 3D touch with multi-touch functionality.
Its name has not been finalized, but an insider has told gadgetmix, it has it will be called an iPad or may be Apple Pad.
So here you go – the Apple tablet is basically a larger version of the iPhone smartphone. It will inherit the same features of the iPhone and will feature a really large display.
