An analyst from Rodman & Renshaw has thrown some light on the processor of the upcoming BB Tablet. The tablet is slated to to surface in Q1 2011 and will likely to be powered by 1GHz Marvell processor. The tablet will be outfitted with 2 cameras, one for FaceTime video-calling and one for taking pictures.
Rumor has it that the Marvell Armada 610 is likely to be the 1GHz chip mentioned in the rumor. This processor supports full-HD 1080p video playback and advanced 3D graphics.
There is also word that the Blackberry tablet will feature two cameras – one on the front and another one on the back. This will allow you to do video conferencing with either of the cameras.
Apple calls this feature Facetime but it should be noted that this feature is already present in the Nokia N95 that made its debut three years back.
In short, so far we know that the BlackBerry Tablet will feature:
- 7-inch display
- 1080p video capability
- 1GHz Marvell CPU
- 2 cameras
