Recently launched Lumia 1520 phablet is finally making it to US. AT&T will start selling it for $199 on two year contract on November
15th 22nd ($750 outright). The 6 inch windows phablet is the first to sport 1080p display.
Nokia Lumia 1520 was launched in AbuDhabi along with Lumia 1320 phablet and Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet.
The camera centric Lumia 1520 phablet features 20 megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss lens, OIS, dual LED flash and brand new Nokia Camera app. There is also a Storyteller app which catalogs photos by their HERE map coordinates.
Hardware-wise, the windows phone runs 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. The storage is 32GB plus up to another 64GB via microSD card and free 7GB of SkyDrive Cloud storage. The Lumia 1520 is powered by massive 3400 mAh battery which should keep it running for about 11 hours of playtime, or 27 hours of talk time. Connectivity included is NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, LTE, and Wi-Fi hotspot.
Verizon is getting similarly specced 5 inch Nokia Lumia 929 sporting the same hardware, same camera, and Qi wireless charging.
