Kingston Digital unveils new SSD UV400Kingston Launches SSDNow drive UV400, a 2.5-inch solution with SATA 3 interface in denominations of 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB. It will be available as stand-alone drive or bundled with everything you need to install it.

Kingston Digital announced the new SSD UV400 . This drive allows a quick start , a fast loading of settings and a dynamic file transfer to mainstream customers at an entry-level price. The SSDNow drive UV400 also uses a four-channel controller Marvell to add incredible speeds: up to 550MB / s read and 500MB / s write , and it is ten times faster than a traditional hard drive 7200RPM (HDD).

* 240GB – up to 550MB / s read and 490MB / s write
* 480GB – up to 550MB / s read and 500MB / s write
* 960GB – up to 550MB / s read and 500MB / s write

Kingston SSD UV400 is superior in terms of strength and durability compared to a mechanical hard drive. The new SSD is less vulnerable to shocks and vibrations and, because of that, it is an ideal solution for notebook computers and other mobile computing devices. UV400 is available bundled version as drive stand alone or can be purchased as a complete kit with everything you need to install the SSD drive within the system, which includes: a USB slot for transferring data, an adapter 2 ” -3.5 “for installation in desktop environments, a SATA cable, a coupon for a free download of software for migrating Acronis data.

The UV400 drive is available in capacities of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB , will soon be available also in the cut to 960GB . UV400 is covered by a three year warranty.
