ASUS X570ZD with Ryzen 5 + GTX 1050 launched in India, NOT for serious gamers

ASUS X570ZD india price specs

Asus India launched VivoBook X570ZD with AMD Ryzen R5 processor and GTX 1050 discrete graphics. While Asus kept boasting about its amazing gaming performance at the event, the GTX 1050 can barely handle modern games at high FPS.

Now, unless you will be playing 2 year old titles, you will be fine with this Asus X570ZD with Ryzen + GTX 1050 combo, but if you are real gamer, you would like to have something like the latest Acer Predator Helios with GTX 1070 or Asus ROG GL503 laptops that are fully capable of handling modern games.

The new Asus X570ZD Vivobook is more for hobbyists rather than gamers.

Good lord, they did not launch the X570ZD with the Radeon Vega 8. The performance of Radeon Vega 8 is comparable to Nvidia’s MX150, which is also not exactly popular for its gaming performance.

That said, if you are looking for a laptop that can handle modern games at lowest settings and something capable of playing full HD or quad HD videos without any hiccups, this Asus X570ZD Vivobook is a decent choice.

ASUS X570ZD review – more like hands on

What we liked about the Asus X570ZD?

We loved the fact it is fairly compact and light at 1.9kg. It has matte IPS screen with full HD panel.

The speakers are loud and it does not get very noisy while playing games.

Asus X570ZD performs great with daily activities and games.

What we did not like about the Asus X570ZD?

It IPS panel is dim – not as good as the Acer Predator Helios.

Also, there is single fan inside which might result in CPU and GPU throttling. Thus, high load CPU performance can be a concern with it.

The keyboard is quite spongy and this is the main thing we did not like about it. There are gaming laptops with much, much better keyboards.
