Q & A with Kamal
These are some of the mails that I received in my mailbox. I thought I would answer them in a single post :P
Q. Hi Kamal! Which is the best Pocket PC with no phone module at the moment?
A. It depends. The Dell Axims are now extinct. That leaves with the new iPAQs, namely, ipaq 210 and ipaq 110. 210 has VGA; USB-host feature and 128MB RAM, which will let you run many applications at once. But, it is little on the big side. If you want a small and thin Windows mobile classic device(aka Pocket PC), ipaq 110 is the way to go. It is pretty cheap too!
Q. Hello Kamal! I want to buy a budget windows mobile device for my work. I want blackberry support and qwerty keyboard. I have no need for the 3G as it is not available here yet. I would also want it to be a unlocked device so that I can change my carrier without any problems.
A. Almost all the current slew of windows mobile devices support the features you want, but, I would heartily suggest you the HTC P4350. It is the most complete package if you do not have a use for the 3G. It has an excellent qwerty slide out keyboard. There is also an official WM6 upgrade for it.
