BCM7445 UltraHD TV decoder by Broadcom at CES

Broadcom showcases their new TV decoder which utilizes the High Efficiency Video Coding compression doubling the download speed while reducing the bandwidth. In reality this decoder supports up to 4 video streams at the same time.
This BCM7445 decoder improves picture quality of HD TV; in offers picture quality of 4 times the 1080p screen resolution. It also offers improved security as it separates the web browsing from video streaming. Sadly, BCM7445 Ultra HD TV video decoder isn’t to be produced until mid 2014.
