Viliv X70 MID launched in Japan

After launching X70 in Hong Kong last month, Viliv has finally launched its X70 Premium MID in Japan. It is going to cost $632 in Japan. It has 7-inch display and runs at the usual 1024 x 600 resolution, which is used in almost all the netbooks and UMPCs out there. Like most netbooks and MIDs, it also comes with SDHC slot via which you can further add 32GB of storage space by using 32GB SDHC card.

Viliv X70 EX Premium 3G goes on sale in Hong Kong

The (famous) South Korean bran, Viliv has made some fabulous MIDs so far (S5 and S7) and now they’ve launched two new MIDs: X70 EX Premium and X70 EX Premium 3G. Both of the two new models use Intel Atom Z520 processor (1.3GHz) which is often used in those devices where battery life is a priority.

The X70 EX comes with 1GB RAM and 32GB solid state drive. The display is 7-inch and runs at the usual 1024 x 600 resolution, which is used in almost all the netbooks and UMPCs out there. Both models come with WiFi, BT 2.0, Sirf Star GPS chip and weigh just 660gm. Starting price is $890 (HKD 6898) which is pretty steep for a MID that runs Windows XP, but it surely won’t matter to those who prefer mobility over price.
