Sinchun 891A Tablet Netbook – An 8.9-inch UMPC

It is possible to get one with build-in 3G modem. It is very light (weighs approx 1kg).

Red Fox WizBook 890i unveiled – in an Advertisement pamphlet though
Red Fox has unveiled a new netbook, WizBook 890i, which sports a bit out-of-date specifications. It has an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 8.9-inch screen 1024×600 resolution, 1GB RAM, 3-cell battery (3800mAh), 120GB HDD, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and built-in webcam.
There is a higher version of the Wizbook 890i model too in which you get a 2GB of RAM and 250GB HDD. According to the pamphlet, it will come in only one color: Red.
Commentary: We totally agree that it is a no-frills netbook, but we are very sure that there is a decent market for these 9-inch models. Many people are finding the current crop of netbooks too big to carry around and this is where these (affordable) 9-inch netbooks fit in.

After the announcement of the launch date of the Samsung N510 in US, now NetbookChoice has received few details from a “reliable and confidential source” about the specs and a launch date of the UK version of Samsung N510.
The source has informed that it would be launched in the same month as it would in the US, that is September. It will be making its debut in the UK in the first week of September and it will be priced at 449 pounds, which is a not cheap for a netbook. But we must understand the fact that this is not a just another netbook with standard specs. It is an ION NETBOOK which is more powerful than the netbooks with standard configurations.

Nokia N900 unboxed! – best looking MID
Nokia N900 is the Nokia’s latest offering for the MID-lovers. The Nokia N900 runs Maemo OS and comes with a 5MP camera. Orzlive.com was able to get hold of N900 and they have posted few unboxing pictures of this beauty.
Features:
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- Built-in GPS,、Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
- Display: 3.5-inch
- Resolution:800 x 480
- OS: Maemo 5
- FM radio
- 5MP camera
If the Nokia N900 had the capability to run Windows XP OS or even Ubuntu, I would have already bought it. Also, another big ‘minus’ in N900 is the fact that there is still no bump in resolution. It still runs at WVGA resolution, which is no more considered as ‘de-facto’. We thought that 2 years were enough for Nokia to realize that people want to see more at a time, but we were wrong!
