Toshiba 500GB hard disk drive for netbooks out now! – How much space does a man need?

Toshiba has finally unveiled its new category of high performance 7200rpm hard disk drives that are meant to be used in Laptops and netbooks.

These new HDDs use less power than the previous 7200rpm disk drives, so you get the same speed with less power used. 0.5TB in a netbook! Just think how much you can throw into your netbook.

The good news does not ends there. The new HDD is nearly 13% faster than the previous 7200rpm hard disks, thanks to the software and hardware improvements.
