He is NOT against cloud computing. According to him, we have been using cloud computing's apps in the past too, but the difference was that those apps did not carry the tag "cloud apps" with them.I feel that cloud computing is great until the network goes down. Reason behind it is that sync does not work when the network goes down. Also, cloud computing can never work for mission critical apps or apps that require 100% uptime or access to your data.That said, lets face it: Oracle serves the back-end of the cloud computing for many websites.
