Oddly, even though October is the month when the Windows 7 will be made official, they are still launching it with Windows XP.The Archos 10s, although being seen as successor to Archos 10, it does not bring anything spectacular over the latter other than being slimmer and lighter. The specs have widely remained unchanged.

Archos is going to ship it with either a 3-cell (2.5 hours) or 6-cell battery (>5 hours). One thing I am not able to make out is the fact that some of the manufactures are still shipping devices with the old Intel Atom processor (N270).
