Cosair to unveil new 128GB USB flash drive – easiest way to increase storage capacity of your netbook
This one is really fast and amazing. Corsair is working on a new 128GB USB flash drive that should be officially announced pretty soon. The new Flash Voyager GT is based on MLC flash memory and uses some sort of flash controller to achieve impressive transfer speeds of over 30MB/s for read and around 28MB/s for write. The guys from Hardwareluxx.de have been able to review it and have thus confirmed the high transfer speeds.
The only drawback that we were able to discover is the fact that this drive is a bit big, but one can hardly bother as that is the price to pay if you want such high transfer speeds. The price is expected to be around €350.
It comes with a rubber case which means that it will be shock, dust and water proof. It will come with a 10-year warranty. Bottom line: If you were planning to increase the storage capacity of your netbook, then using this flash drive, you can easily bump the capacity to 128GB.

BMW Netbook – Yiyi-S1
Nobody would have ever expected a BMW branded netbook. Reason is simple: Netbooks are meant to be cheap and BMW cars are not cheap at all.
A Chinese manufacture is now selling a BMW branded netbook that comes with very plain netbook specs:
- Intel Atom N270 processor
- 10.2-inch screen
- 160GB HDD
- 1GB RAM
- Intel 945GSE chipset and integrated GMA 950 graphics
A big question that comes to my mind regarding the BMW netbook is that it could be fake. Why? Everything is so netbook-ish about this netbook. I would expect BMW netbook to be equipped with huge RAM and storage capacity. After all, BMW cars have a class.
