So who wants a Sony iPad?

According to Bloomerberg, Sony is closely monitoring the tablet market which has been made popular by the Apple iPad. It is an axiomatic truth that Sony has been impressed by the 1 million plus sales of the iPad in less than a month.

We hope the Sony realize that the core reason Apple was able to sell so many devices was due to the iPhone OS and the crazy so-called “Apple Community”

“We have been taking a deep look at developing a tablet for a number of years, not just because of Apple but because it creates some interesting opportunities,” Mike Abary, senior vice president of Sony’s Information Technology Products unit, said in an interview this week in San Francisco.
