Sony Vaio X appears on Sony Japan Website
The ultra thin and light netbook by Sony, VAIO X is near its official release as it has shown itself up at Sony Style Japan. Currently, we do not know what processor is being used in this notebook/netbook. It was earlier shown with Intel Atom processor, but we expect it to change to some CULV processor upon its release.

SONY ties up with Chunghwa Telecom to promote its netbooks in Taiwan market
Electronic giant, SONY has decided to team up with the Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) to sell its netbooks in the Taiwan market and SONY is doing this for the first time. Chunghwa Telecom will also be cooperating with the SONY to promote its products and services through the plethora of SONY’s retail channels in Taiwan, which includes SONY Style, Best Denki, Fnac and Tsann Kuen.
This means that SONY will be selling its newly released VAIO W in the Taiwanese market (also) via CHT.
SONY VAIO P signature collection – A $2000 GLOSSY BLACK VAIO P!
SONY has launched “Signature Collection” for its VAIO P series, which comes with a 1.86GHz Intel Atom CPU, 256GB SSD drive and Windows Vista Home Premium. Price is not at all pocket friendly. This signature VAIO P will cost you $2000, which is way too much for a netbook! There are only 1000 such units to be made. So, better hurry if you want one of these glorified netbooks.
..and you though that the original VAIO P was expensive?
