Samsung N230

Sammy has on display this new netbook which looks similar to its sibling – Samsung N210. Well almost, expect for the fact that the Samsung N230 has a brushed metallic palm rest and a HP Mini-like chiclet keyboard.

Samsung N230 is powered by an Atom N450 processor and features 10.1-inch 1024×600 pixel display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and runs Windows 7 Starter OS.

Samsung N210 BIOS updated

Samsung has released a BIOS update for the Samsung N210 netbook. The updated BIOS called the 00KG is available from the Samsung’s UK website.

Unfortunately, there is no information what changes this BIOS brings to the netbook.

Samsung NB30, N210, N220 and N150 Pine Trail netbooks unleashed!

Samsung has rolled-out a bunch of Pine Trail netbooks – all basically having more or less same specifications. The only way to distinguish between them is by their battery life. The N210 as-well-as N220 both are being touted to have mind-boggling 12 hours of run time while the NB30 (spotted at FCC here) will run for 11 hours straight. The N150 too will give you a decent 8.5  hours of runtime.

The NB30 comes with other goodies too – water-tight seal chassis (upto 50cc of water), HDD protection sensor.

All are powered by the latest Intel Atom Pine Trail N450 processor.
