Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150

Lenovo has launched a new ION nettop in the market – IdeaCentre Q150 which is as slim as Lady Gaga. It is powered by an Atom processor and somehow manages to squeeze in a hard disk, RAM and believe it or not, ION chipset! Wonderful – Very.

There is an HDMI output port on it suave body too so that you can plug it in to an HDTV. When it comes to processors, you have the choice to choose between Atom D410 or Atom D510 processor. Other specifications include Windows 7 Home Basic or Windows 7 Home Premium, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 4 USB 2.0 ports, VGA port, microphone and headphone jacks. Available for $249 by the end of June.

JooJoo now available in Europe

ECS MD120 Nettop – ION Nettop

Wish to own a bare-bones nettop? If yes, then this ION nettop may suit you perfectly. The ECS MD120 nettop comes equipped with a dual-core Intel Atom 330 processor and NVIDIA ION graphics. What you will NOT find in this nettop is an OS, RAM or hard disk. There is a space for DVD burner that you will have to get it yourself. You get a total of 6 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and DVI ports, 6-channel audio, D-Sub port and a multi-card reader. Measuring 10.6″ x 7.9″ x 2.4″, it has an attractive price tag too: $269+$10 for shipping. Commentary: It is axiomatic that it is meant for the modders and folks who like to hand-pick the stuff themselves. After all, the only thing you are getting here is a nettop cabinet with ION+Atom CPU

Lenovo postpones the launch of Lenovo S12 netbook until Windows 7 release

Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is one of the netbooks to have HD capabilities, thanks to the Nvidia ION platform. Sadly, Lenovo still has not released this powerful netbook to the masses. Reason: Windows 7. Yes, Lenovo has decided not to release their S12 netbook until Windows 7 is released.

Equipped with an already obsolete processor, Intel Atom N270, this netbook has a sharp display for sure as it packs in 1280×800 pixels in its 12-inch display frame! Anyway, we will see how this baby performs with Windows 7

Lenovo rolls out ION-based S12

The Lenovo is all set to release a special version of Lenovo S12, which is based on the ION-platform of which we talked about a couple of months back. It is going to use the tried-and-tested Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz. It has a 12-inch display, which helps it to pack a full size keyboard.

S12 with Via Nano processor is available along with the one with Intel Atom processor.
