Nokia's services sales manager, <em>Chanse Arrington</em>,  is testing N900's apps (like Bounce, Twitter apps etc) before it is officially launched. Oddly, Nokia still believes that there flagship device is still Nokia N97, which they think is "more mass consumer friendly" than the Nokia N900.<em>"It's not a hard concept. It won't be positioned as a phone, but will be positioned as able to make phone calls," </em>he said<em></em>Commentary: This is weird. We fully agree with the fact that Nokia N97 is more consumer friendly, but that does not makes it the flagship device. <strong>The Nokia N900 runs better, more sophisticated OS whereas the Nokia N97 runs old Symbian OS</strong> for which I should rather not go into details. The Nokia N900 has <strong>bigger and better screen</strong> and is <strong>powerful</strong> enough for being a MID (Mobile Internet Device). Quanta will produce the netbook, whereas Compal will manufacture the smartbook for Nokia.</em>So, this means that although the Nokia is launching its own netbook, but it won't be making it on their own. Nokia is not all that <em>new</em> in the PC world.
