Samsung N510 – 11-inch screen and ION powered
According to NetbookItalia (Italian), Samsung is going to launch its ION powered 11.6 inch netbook in the month of July. The Samsung N510 (NP-N10-KA02UK) is the first 11.6-inch netbook that won’t come with the awfully slow Atom Z520. Other than that it comes with a gig of RAM, 160GB HDD, Webcam, Bluetooth, card reader and Wi-Fi and will Windows XP. Expect the price to be around 600 Euros.
Asus Eee PC 1000HV does 720p video fine, but not 1080p
The Folks at eeepc.it were able to get their hands on the EEE 1000hv, which is basically an EEE 1000HE with ATi 3450HD GPU. With ATi GPU, the first thing that comes to mind is: performing a video test to test its video capabilities. So, they tested two videos: one 720p and other 1080p on the ASUS EEE PC 1000HV. 720p video played just fine on the EEE 1000HV, but it 1080p video suffered from sound lag.
