MSI Wind U230 now official
MSI after launching MSI Xslim X430, here comes another AMD-powered notebook, well actually a netbook.
The Wind U230 is powered by dual-core Athlon L335 processor and AMD RS780MN + SB710 chipset with Radeon HD3200 graphics. It has 12-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, 4GB RAM and 320GB HDD. It resembles much like plain U200/210 and has same ports. It also has Wi-Fi b/g and optional Bluetooth radio. It comes with either 3-cell or 6-cell battery and weighs 1.3 kg. Nothing is known about its pricing and availability.
Commentary: Finally, after making its appearance on its official website few days back, MSI has official launched this AMD-powered beauty. This netbook is, undoubtedly, one of the most powered netbooks launched till now as it comes with a dual core AMD processor and dedicated GPU. Not to mention the inclusion of 4GB RAM and huge 320GB HDD space.
MSI Wind U230/Wind 12 appears on MSI Website
A new MSI Wind model, the Wind12, also known as, the Wind U230 has been spotted which is equipped with new AMD Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor aka AMD Yukon MV40 along with ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium as OS.
