Celio Redly ‘fake’ netbook now costs just $250 – we still do not recommend buying it
Most of the netbook users do not know much about Celio Redfly. Well, it is device that comes with NO operating system, NO inbuilt memory and NO RAM! So what does it do? Well, it is just used to extend the display of your smartphone to its bigger 8-inch display. The screen has a WVGA resolution, which was used in the first generation of EEE PC (EEE 701). The celio redly also gives you a nice spacious keyboard to type upon.
Sadly, it only works with Windows Mobile smartphones. So, do not think of extending your iPhone’s display via Celio Redfly because it won’t even detect it!
Now, Celio is claiming that they have been able to sell enough of these Redfl-ies and they can now bring the price down to $250. Ouch! You can get an Acer Aspire One for that price

After 10-inch netbooks, 12-inch netbooks are on rage right now. MSI U200 is decent looking netbook, which comes with an impressive resolution: 1366 x 768. You do not see that resolution on a netbook often. Rest of its specs are pretty much netbook-ish:GMA 4500M integrated graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 2GB of DDR2 memory, and 250GB HDD. It weighs 1.4kg and comes with a 3-cell battery. There is no information on the price as of now
I love the fact that it comes with such a decent resolution, perfect for doing stuff which requires high resolution such as running Visual Studio. Also, 2GB RAM should make processing even more smooth.

Eee PC 1000HE BIOS update for better video
Asus recently created a new BIOS update which is must have for those watching videos often on their Eee PC 1000HE. User reports suggest that the new upgrade frees up some valuable memory from the netbook when playing video, thus giving a slightly better viewing of high-definition videos. It also improves gaming display and other applications which require heavy graphic capabilities.
Moreover, you may overclock the 1000HE at 1.9GHz, which will enable you to watch Hulu, Netflix and YouTube videos better than it was with the old BIOS and regular settings. However, before you consider the update, you should know that doing so would remove your 1000HE’s support for DOLBY digital sound. So, its a decision to choose sound over audio.
