Marvell 1GHz Armada 610 launched

Marvell has launched a processor with wicked 1GHz clock speed. It has the capability to handle upto four 1080p displays, thanks to its ability to calculate upto 45 million polygons per second.

It has the same instruction set like the ARM cortex A8 CPU but is more capable and powerful. This new chip is targeted at MIDs, Smartphones, portable media players and eBook readers.
