Fujitsu Japan updates LOOX M Netbook
Fujitsu Japan has updated its existing LOOX M netbook. Now, the LOOX M comes with the new Intel Atom N280 processor. The Fujitsu LOOX M is very decent netbook although a bit pricey when compared to other netbooks. This netbook is available only in Japan for a hefty price tag of $660. Well, you have to pay for the brand value. It is available in three colors – red, white, and lavender.

- 2.7 to 5 hours battery life

Fujitsu M2010 launched in US
Fujitsu has launched its first Intel Atom netbook, M2010 in the US (U810 and U820 were UMPCs). The Fujistu M2010 comes with an Intel Atom processor (N270), 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 576 pixel resolution, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 3-cell battery and Windows XP. The base model retails for $449.
The Fujitsu M2010 Mini-Notebook brings a new class of low-cost, ultra-portable computing to the mobile world. Its 10.1 inch display, Intel® Atom™ processor, light weight, and robust WLAN, provide a perfect platform for surfing the Internet, checking email, and other casual uses.
So just like SONY, you are going to pay a premium for its brand value. On a funny note, Fujitsu has mentioned N270 processor as Intel Core 2 Duo.

Fujitsu M2010 announced!
Building on the success of the M1010 netbook, Fujitsu has unveiled M2010 netbook. Here are its specifications:
- N270/N280 Atom processor
- 10.1-inch LED backlight screen
- 160GB HDD
- 1GB RAM
- 1.3MP webcam
- WiFi, BT
- Stereo speakers
As you can see, it has standard netbook specifications. Fujitsu has bundled Thinkfree mobile office suite with the M2010. Fujitsu has festooned the Fujitsu M2010 with four colours – Diamond Black, Fiery Red, Ivory White and Salsa Purple.
Note: Currently M2010 with N270 is available. The one with N280 processor will be available in the June, 2009.

Fujitsu M2010 Netbook – just a drawing of some random netbook?
A forum member at UMPCfever has posted a hand drawn picture of a new mysterious netbook from Fujitsu. It has been named M2010 and will be unveiled in the month of July (2009). By the looks of it, it seems to have a 10-inch screen. But wait, the netbook in that picture looks like any other netbook in the market. If you ask me, it looks more like EEE 1000H or EEE 901 with smaller touchpadBut, the netbook in that picture looks like any other netbook in the market. If you ask me, it looks more like EEE 1000H or EEE 901 with smaller touchpad. The month of July is not far away and if you ask me, it will be too for difficult for Fujitsu to leak just hand drawings to the world before its launch.
