LG has rolled out its first netbook in the US. LG X120 which is going to be retailed under 2-year AT&T contract has built-in 3G HSDPA for high speed Internet. The netbook has 10.1-inch screen and 1024×600 resolution. Rest of the specs are ho-hum: Intel Atom N270 processor, 160 GB Hard disk, 1 GB memory, XP and so on. LG claims that it will give you runtime of upto 7-hours.
Price:$180 with a $60 per month, 2 year contract, 5GB bandwidth
“We created the LG X120 to allow consumers to stay connected on their own terms,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy and marketing for LG Mobile Phones. “The Smart On(TM) button puts consumers seconds away from the fun stuff such as showing off your vacation photos or picking your fantasy football line-up.”
Commentary: Kudos to LG for making a netbook available in the US that was made official 8 months back!
