Kohjinsha PA running Mac OS X
Kohjinsha PA is nice little piece of kit. It is very small which makes it a near perfect device for taking it around.
The boot up of the Mac OS is a bit slow as its user is booting from the USB drive. I am sure it would be been much faster if the installation was done on its storage memory instead. Anyway, it is always nice to these little computers running Mac OS.

Kohjinsha PA review
PCwatch (Japanese) was able to get their hands on on the Kohjinsha PA, a small tablet that weighs just 400gm! The unit that they got for review ran Windows XP Home. First here is a run down of its specs:
- Intel Atom Z520 processor at 1.33GHz
- 32GB SSD
- 1 USB 2.0 port
- WLAN
- Bluetooth
- 1.3MP micros-SD slot
- webcam
The processor that is used is the same as used in the entry level SONY VAIO P as-well-as the Acer Aspire 751H. However, the disturbing factor is the use of 512MB RAM.

Kohjinsha PA Series – how many dual-function keys does a man need?
(Lucky) folks at Akiharabara were able to get their hands on the recently announced Kohjinsha PA-series. Although the device looks pretty slick to us, we were actually shocked by the number of dual-function keys on it.
The pointer/mouse (below the keyboard) also seems to be pretty tricky to use.
Kohjinsha PA Series – This is what Kohjinsha PM MID should have been!
Last month, Kohjinsha launched a rebranded UMID M1 Mbook called PM series, that too with lower specs. Now, they have unveiled a device of their own: PA series. Sporting a 4.8-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, it has nice touch screen display and comes with an Intel Atom Z520 processor that runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. It has 32GB SSD for storage and 512MB RAM for running apps. It runs Windows XP Home SP3 and weighs 400gm. It has a Micro-SD port, TV tuner, WiFi (b/g) and BT 2.0 + EDR. Kohjinsha claims that it has battery life of 7.5 hours, although we are a bit skeptical about those figures.
512MB RAM in year 2009. What is Kohjinsha thinking anyway?
