Zotac Zbox HD-ND22, NS21 Nettops launched

Zotac has unveiled its new range of CULV powered nettops – HD-ND22 and HD- NS21. The NS21 is powered by Intel Celeron 743 processor while the ND22 features Intel SU2300 CULV processor. That is not all as it boasts Nvidia ION GPU which is capable of 16 unified shaders.

Common specs include 2x DDR3 RAM slots, 1x 2.5-inch HDD bay, 6x USB ports, HDMI and DVI-I outputs.

Acer Aspire 752 review

Remember our review of the Acer 752H, which was the Acer’s first 11.6-incher. That lacked in terms of raw performance, because the Atom Z520, although delivered astonishing battery life, was just too weak – even for basic task like browsing the web. Well, Acer has now released an update that deals with all the cons of the previous models and is calling it Acer Aspire 752. This netbook features 11.6-inch display, 1366×768 pixel resolution, 1GB RAM (2 slots, upto 2GB RAM total supported), and is powered by much more muscular and capable Intel Celeron SU2300 processor. Acer also did not forget to equip this mean machine with a HDMI port, which allows you to connect it to a HD-monitor. However, there are only two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, VGA port and the usual headphone and microphone jack.

Com launches 11.6-inch CULV netbook

Com Ltd, Japan has launched "Lesance Crimson 7HP-CZ102IW-TypeS" netbook in the market. Under the hood, unlike most netbooks, it is powered by a powerful Dual-Core SU2300 processor (1.2GHz). It has a 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution. Other specs include 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Intel GS45 chipset, 3x USB ports, Wi-Fi b/g, LAN, multi-card reader, 1.3MP [...]

Intel Dual Celeron SU2300 CULV processor to be replaced soon

Intel will be modifying its dual-core Celeron SU2300 which runs @ 2x 1.20GHz. The Intel Su2300 is a fine processor and is great for the ultra thin notebooks and netbooks, whose users crave for a little more horsepower. Compared to the Single Core Intel 743 CULV, the SU2300 has two cores.

Intel is silent over the matter, but it would be replaced with Montevina or Calpella platform. In any case, Celeron 743 is no going nowhere and will be seen in plenty of cheap CULV notebooks in 2010
