Best Buy strikes exclusive deal on Nokia Booklet 3G in US

Best Buy will be the exclusive retailer for the Nokia’s Booklet 3G netbook. Nokia’s netbook will be launched in the US later this year, most probably during Christmas time.

Of course, Nokia will also be selling this device themselves. In case you have forgotten the amazing specs of this Nokia beauty, here is a quick run down of its specs:

• 1.6GHz Z530 processor

Acer Timelines notebooks now with Celeron based CULV processors – Acer Timeline 3410T and Timeline 5410T

Acer’s Timeline 3410T is slowly appearing in retail shops along with its bigger brother 15-inch, the 5410T. Both the models use Intel’s 1.2GHz Celeron 723, the cheapest and slowest CULV processor around. Acer is doing this bring the prices of its CULV notebooks down. The 3410T is being sold for just €426 and Timeline 5410T for €475.

Acer Aspire Revo 3600 Nettop sports Dual-Core Atom 330

Acer is soon going to unveil its Dual Core nettop, Aspire Revo 3600 at IFA. This model brings in a dual-core Atom 330 processor and 4GB RAM instead of the single-core Atom 230 and 2GB RAM. Instead of weak GMA 950 Intel Graphic Chipset, it packs in a mighty Nvidia’s ION chipset which should be able to play your HD movies just fine. It also has HDMI port and VESA mount.

There is no word on its price, release date or the OS which it will carry. However, we expect the OS to be nothing but Windows 7

AMD Powered MSI Wind U210 now available for pre-order

The 12-inch AMD powered, Wind U210 by MSI is now there at Amazon.com for pre-order even though Samsung has made it official yet. The MSI U210-006US is priced at $429.99 with free shipping and comes with a 6-cell battery.

Comptech 2009: Chirag computers unveils PowerPlay 14U20 [Exclusive]

Chirag computers, an Indian computer manufacture, today unveiled their latest notebook, PowerPlay 14U20. The notebook comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, T5800 that runs at a clock speed of 2GHz. The 14U20 has a 14.1-inch TFT LCD screen that runs WXGA resolution (1280×800).
