SONY VAIO X gets Mac OS X treatment!
Is there a netbook in the world which has NOT been turned into a Hackintosh? The “slim and elegant” VAIO X from SONY, has finally been Hackintosh-ed! Asama, used his VAIO P’s Mac OS X image on his VAIO X and voila, it worked! As expected, the WiFi did not work. Unfortunately, that cannot be replaced as everything is soldered to its logicboard. For sure, the VAIO X has come complex stuff going under its bonnet, thus making it very tough for the modders to mod this little machine
SONY VAIO X although got mixed expressions in our review and we were not very impressed with its performance and it pinches us that a $1000+ machine gives unsatisfactory performance, but then, at the same time, it is very exciting to see a non-Macbook machine running Mac OS X operating system.

Fingerprint MOD for Dell Mini 9 netbook
Although Dell Mini 9 is not latest and greatest anymore, but that did not stop the modders from putting in a fingerprint reader into it. rich2871, a member at Dell mini forum has come up with a mod where he has put in a fingerprint reader into the small body of Mini 9, which he can converted into a hackintosh.
However, keep in mind that you will have to do some cutting to make space for the fingerprint reader and after doing that your warranty will be voided.
