Origin Eon15 gaming laptop
The Origin PC has recently launched the Eon18, a gaming laptop that packs in a 1080p screen, Core i7-820QM processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a GeForce GTX 285M and cool paint. ION-Powered 12-inch ASUS EEE PC 1201N Netbook coming soon
ASUS is very soon going to unveil its first ION-powered netbook, EEE PC 1201N in the month of October. Having an 12.1-inch display, this netbook is surely not going to be as compact as the current seashell line of netbooks by ASUS (read our EEE 1008HA seashell review). Packing a respectable 1366×768 resolution, it also has a GeForce 9400M G ION chipset coupled with an Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz). It has 250GB HDD and 2GB RAM.
Along with standard radios (Bluetooth, WiFi-n), it is backed by a decent 6-cell 5200mAh battery that is rated to give you up to 11 hours of runtime. It will be bundled with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS and will be priced at $499
The date of the launch and specs of Samsung N510 UK-version disclosed
After the announcement of the launch date of the Samsung N510 in US, now NetbookChoice has received few details from a “reliable and confidential source” about the specs and a launch date of the UK version of Samsung N510.
The source has informed that it would be launched in the same month as it would in the US, that is September. It will be making its debut in the UK in the first week of September and it will be priced at 449 pounds, which is a not cheap for a netbook. But we must understand the fact that this is not a just another netbook with standard specs. It is an ION NETBOOK which is more powerful than the netbooks with standard configurations.
It comes with a 6-Cell battery that will give you 7.5+ hours of battery life. Samsung N510 UK version specs are as follows:

Lot of ION-platform netbooks to be launched in coming months
Nidia is in talks in ‘big’ netbooks manufactures that will using the Nvidia’s ION chipset in their upcoming netbooks. The ION chipset is reserved for the Intel Atom CPU. According to one weird report, Apple was also about to embrace this chipset as Geforce 9400, but thankfully that didn’t happen
